Why Use A Carb Cap
As dabbing becomes more popular to stoners everywhere the desire to perfect the art becomes a more serious quest in the stoner world. Since the inception of dabbing we’ve seen Domeless Nails, Healthstones, but few inventions have been as impactful to dabbing as the Carb Cap.
A carb cap is a covering for your domeless nail that restricts airflow to one small opening on the cap. This greatly increases the pressure within your nail and allows you to vaporize every last bit of your dab.
Why Should I Use It?
A carb cap will definitely impact the way you dab after using it. The change in pressure in your piece that a carb cap causes creates an ideal environment for vaporizing the last of your concentrates in the nail.
By restricting air flow into your water pipe, the carb cap creates additional pressure in your bong, causing the vaporizing point for concentrates inside the piece to decline, meaning that the concentrates can now vaporize at a much lower temperature while under the pressure of the carb cap. This is why people cap their nails towards the end of the dab when the nail has started to cool down, and there is leftover concentrate still in the dish. The cap creates pressure, decreases the vaporizing point, and that leftover bubbling concentrate burns right up into sweet, sweet, vapor.
