How does a bubbler work?

Bubblers work just like bongs. To use, simply fill your chamber with water and put your tobacco or dry herb mix in the bowl. Make sure to put the herb in loosely for better airflow and combustion. Then place your lips on the mouthpiece and cover the carb hole if your bubbler has this feature. Now you can ignite the bowl, inhale the smoke and relax.

How much water do you put in a bubbler?

There isn’t a standard amount of water to fill your bubbler with. It all depends on the size of the bubbler. In most cases, you just have to submerge the downstem. If you don’t have the downstem underwater then the smoke won’t travel through the water, and it will hit like a dry pipe without any diffusion. The water serves as a cooler for your smoke.
